Getting to Tsavo East

Tsavo East is accessible primarily by road from Mombasa (150 km, 2.5 hours) or Nairobi (325 km, 5 hours). The park has multiple entry gates with Voi Gate being most popular. Most tourists access Tsavo East as part of coastal safari packages or en route between Mombasa and Nairobi.
