Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary is accessible primarily by road from Nairobi via Nyeri town providing scenic drive through central highlands.
Road Transfer from Nairobi
Nairobi to Oserengoni: approximately 180km, 3.5-4 hours via Thika and Nyeri. Good tarmac roads most of journey with final approach on murram (graded dirt). 4×4 vehicles recommended especially during rains. Scenic route passes pineapple plantations, coffee farms, central highland towns.
Alternative Access
Nearby Nyeri town (30km, 1 hour) provides stopover option. Aberdare National Park (adjacent) accessible from same region. No airstrip at sanctuary—nearest at Nanyuki (2 hours) for charter flights. Most visitors drive from Nairobi as part of central highlands circuit.
