Gently set along the banks of the Mara River, the beautiful Neptune Mara Rianta Luxury Tented Camp is the ideal location for safari-goers to relax and soak up the excitement of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. With the slow flow of the Mara River right in front of your tent, a thriving source of water for local wildlife, chances of seeing plains game and predators pay a visit are great.

Meals at Neptune Mara Rianta Luxury Camp are enjoyed under a billowing canvas ceiling or al fresco with views of the surrounding wilderness. Unwind before dinner in the Zebra Bar and Lounge, enjoy a barbeque and sundowners around the glistening pool or take some time out to enjoy the Earth and Rain Spa. A special treat is a traditional Masai dance on selected evenings, a display of tradition enjoyed around a gentle fire.

Location

The Neptune Mara Rianta Luxury Camp is located within Kenya’s famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. A 45-minute flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport will have guests land in the Mara North Airstrip where they will be transferred from the airstrip to the camp. Drive time from Nairobi is five hours.

Rooms / Tents

Neptune Mara Rianta Luxury Camp comprises 20 luxury tents all around 915 sq feet in size. The high, billowing ceilings of these beautiful canvas rooms sit on a raised wooden platform with an expansive deck offering views over the river and surrounding bushland.

Each tent has a neat sitting area and a writing desk and bedding can be made up as King Size or Twin-Bedded. There is an in-room safe, WiFi and a butler is on call. The ensuite bathroom has a large shower, twin vanity and private toilet.

A highlight of any stay in the Masai Mara is the featured game drives that take place in the morning and afternoon each day, a chance to witness the magnificent wildlife that can be found in the Masai Mara. Plains game like zebra and kudu move gently around open savannahs while predators such as lions laze along the river bank, while a leopard may wait patiently for their prey beneath trees.

Guided nature walks are on offer as well as the thrilling experience of a Hot Air Balloon ride. Bird lovers can keep a lookout for the over 470 different bird species to be found in the Reserve.
