Tipilikwani Mara Camp

Set along the banks of the beautiful Talek River, guests staying at the Tipilikwani Mara Camp are treated to views over the picturesque and wildlife-rich Masai Mara plains. A charming dining area, large lounge and inviting bar welcome guests to sit back and relax after a busy day out on safari. At night, guests gather around a large fire pit and exchange stories of their day in search of wildlife, the crackle of the fire setting a peaceful and tranquil mood.

The generous-sized swimming pool is set on lush grass, surrounded by bushy trees, the perfect setting to cool down in between game drives. Massages and facials are offered at Tipilikwani Mara Camp and guests can spend some time in the small gift shop looking for that special souvenir. Location

Tipilikwani Mara Camp is located in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, a 12-minute drive from the Olkiombo Airstrip, located north of the Talek River. Flying from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport into the Olkiombo Airstrip takes approximately 45 minutes while driving from Nairobi will take around five hours.

Rooms / Tents

20 luxury tents stand on raised wooden platforms, all offering a comfortable place to sit and watch roaming wildlife pass by. Perhaps simply take in the stillness of the surrounding bush.

There are 18 Standard Tents that can be configured into king-size or twin beds. The two Family or Group Tents are adjoined by a large verandah with one tent comprising a large, double bed while the other one has two single beds offering twin accommodations. Each tent has a small desk and chair, comfortable outside seating and tasteful African-inspired decor throughout.
