Losokwan Luxury Tented Camp is an eco-friendly, exclusive tented experience set in the Lemek Conservancy of the famous Masai Mara National Park. This luxury camp offers accommodation strategically set in a prime game viewing location, offering comfort blended with an authentic bush look and feel.
Meals take a front seat at Losokwan with options such as breakfast near the Mara River, where guests get to look out for wallowing hippos while enjoying their meal or a starlit wine-paired dinner back at camp, or perhaps a private dining experience on the deck. Location
Located in the Lemek Conservancy in the northern part of the Masai Mara ecosystem, the Losokwan Luxury Tented Lodge is situated in prime Great Migration territory, which takes place between July and October.
Exceptional game viewing can be guaranteed throughout the year with the nearby Mara River and vast savannahs open to a large number of wildlife.
Guests have the option of either driving three and a half hours to the conservancy or taking a 45-minute flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport into either Ngerende or Mara North airstrip. Upon arrival you will be met by your guide who will drive you to the lodge.
Rooms / Tents
Six luxury tented suites are set up with views of the Mara Plains in sight, with privacy a key factor as tent terraces jut out from the sleeping area, complete with wooden seating and side table.
The decor is a blend of neutral colors with a splash of color, wooden flooring complimenting the stunning canvas walls and ceiling.
Bathrooms are en-suite with flush toilets and hot bucket showers and room amenities range from bathrobes to a flashlight, communication radio, an umbrella and complimentary drinking water.
All tents can be converted into doubles, twins or triples with a family tent available and offers two rooms connected by a small living area.

Game Viewing / Activities
The Masai Mara is rich in a variety of wildlife and guests staying at Losokwan Luxury Tented Camp can experience sightings of predators and plains game several times during their stay. Early morning and late afternoon drives are popular and take place in enclosed 4×4 Land Cruisers with seating for 6 guests, each with their own window, and a pop-up roof for optimal game viewing.
Animal sightings range from elephant herds to prides of lazy lions, from cheetah resting in the shade to hundreds of plains game scattered across the savannah. The Great Migration takes place between July and October and the Lemek Conservancy is right near the action.
Guests also have the option of participating in guided bush walks, bird watching outings and night drives, with a highlight being the opportunity to experience a hot air balloon ride over the famous reserve. At night, guests can listen out for the sound of hippo or buffalo grazing around the tents, a thrilling and humbling sound at the same time.
