Located in the Masai Mara’s Siana’s conservancy, Enkorok Mara Camp offers visitors looking for tasteful and moderate accommodations in one of Kenya’s key safari national parks, a chance to experience understated luxury in a charming setting. Overlooking the Olooloitikosh Hills, views are captivating with the banks of the Oloirignyisho River teeming with wildlife. A central area is set up with chairs scattered around a comfortable sitting area and the large Tamu Tamu restaurant, complete with thatched roof, serving wonderful local fare while the funky cocktail bar entices guests to enjoy an after dinner drink. Cool down in the small swimming pool or simply relax in your ensuite tent after a day of exploring the region’s wildlife. Culture walks and visits to a Maasai community are available as well as climbs or hikes and a small gift shop available at the camp.
Location
Five hours travel by road from Nairobi or a short 45-minute flight, Enkorok lies just within the Oloolaimutia Gate of the Masai Mara’s Siana’s conservancy. The focus for this 43,000 sq feet piece of land is on wildlife conservation, putting Enkorok in a prime wildlife location.
Rooms / Tents
15 large, raised tents comprising a comfortable sitting area and offering guests a chance to take in the views over mountains and wild terrain from their private verandas. Beds are covered with mosquito nets and each tent has a television and small table. Bedding can be made up as queen, double, twin and triples, providing for single travelers to family escapes. Each tent has complimentary bottled water and the en-suite bathrooms offer a hot and cold shower. The tents are spaced out with privacy a key factor.

Game Viewing / Activities
Game drives in this part of the Mara are spectacular and roaming the hills and open plains of the Masai Mara will introduce visitors to a phenomenal safari experience. Besides captivating safaris in 4×4 open vehicles, guided nature walks and a hot air balloon safari offer a different aspect to witnessing wildlife in the quiet Siana Conservancy. Few lodges and camps means those staying in the area may feel like the only ones out on safari.
