Located within the popular Masai Mara Game Reserve, the Mara Eden Safari Camp is a three-star camp that offers a quality safari experience in one of Kenya’s premium game reserves. Notice neutral colors with splashes of reds and oranges throughout the main tent and accommodation. Situated on the banks of the Mara River, the location is somewhat secluded offering a well-priced, intimate safari experience.

All 14 tents stand on a wooden platform with a deck that commands incredible views over the Mara River, showcasing wildlife making its way through the wilderness throughout the day. Watch the sunset from atop ‘Sundowner Rock’ with a refreshing cocktail, perhaps, from one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Reserve. Cool off in the small but inviting swimming pool or enjoy a wonderful massage in between game drives. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining tent with a welcome drink enjoyed at the humble bar at the end of the day.

Location

The Mara Eden Safari Camp is found within the well-known Masai Mara, around 9 miles from the Mara Triangle. 45-minute flights connect the city of Nairobi to the Serena Airstrip in the safari haven, departing from Wilson Airport. If guests want to drive from Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta Airport, the drive time will be approximately five hours.

Rooms / Tents

The Mara Eden Safari Camp comprises 14 canvas tents, all with a wooden platform and a viewing deck for the ideal opportunity to see wildlife passing by in front of your tent. Bedding can be set up as either a Double Room or a Twin-Bedded option, each tent comprising a small sitting area, an in-room safe, a wardrobe and free WiFi. The tents offer solar-powered electricity and heating and the en-suite bathrooms are comfortable and equipped with a shower. Interconnecting tents are available for families traveling together.
