Mara Bushtop Luxury Camp

An absolute gem and luxury treat in the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, the Mara Bushtops Camp offers an outstanding and unforgettable safari experience and stay. There is a small and rocky swimming pool that overlooks the Mara plains and the 12 luxury tented suites are connected by a bush pathway that winds from reception to the main Camp area. Meals can be enjoyed either inside a formal dining room or on the outside patio with the chance to watch animals walking in the distance.

Guests can enjoy a snack or drink at the small snack bar or take some time out relaxing in a charming sitting area. Mara Treetops Luxury Camp is the only camp to have its own private salt lick which sees many animals coming to take in the beneficial minerals their bodies crave.

Location

Mara Bushtops Luxury Camp is located in the Isaaten Conservancy in the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. The closest airstrip is the Siana Airstrip, a flight from Wilson Airport taking 45 minutes only and then a short twenty-minute drive to the Camp. Driving from Nairobi is possible, however, it will take around five hours to get there.

Rooms / Tents

There are 12 large, gorgeous and extremely spacious Luxury Tents privately situated at Mara Bushtops Camp. They comprise either one large king-size bed or two single beds. The sides open up with the ensuite bathroom set behind the sleeping area, a small closet available to hang up your clothes. There is an outdoor shower on the wrap-around deck which also has a small hot tub set into the wood.

Each tent has a dedicated butler and there is the option for in-tent dining for that romantic meal. The decor is luxurious yet classic in style and a small sitting area means guests can spend many hours just sitting, listening and looking out over the surrounding African bush.

Places Of Interest

Game drives are conducted in the early morning and late afternoon, ending with the option of watching the sunset from Sekenani Hill. Guests have the option of doing a night drive, as the Mara Bushtops Camp is set on a private conservancy.

The launch site for a Hot Air Balloon ride is nearby and for those visitors who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, taking a guided nature walk with an experienced local guide is the perfect way to get up close to the smaller wonders of the African bush. Visits to the nearby Kakiya Cave are a must, where one can learn all about Masai culture, hunting techniques, and rich traditions.
