Kilima Safari Camp

Kilima Safari Camp is located inside Kenya’s popular Amboseli National Park, a little way from the Kimana Gate.
The main Camp area is impressive in size and layout, with a welcoming reception set under an impressive ceiling
and long walkways amid manicured gardens.

The restaurant is set up to provide delicious meals to guests seated at individual tables and offers an option
to enjoy barbeque dinners out on the stunning plains of the Amboseli. There is a large sitting area and well-sized
bar with views over water holes and the breathtaking Mt Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Those staying at Kilima Safari Camp can enjoy relaxing alongside the resort-size, oval-shaped swimming pool, lounges around the stone paving,
and views over a nearby water hole to add to the overall relaxing ambiance. There is a spa for guests who wish to enjoy a little pampering during their safari experience
and a meeting or banquet room for a corporate getaway with a difference. Accommodation comprises a combination of 72 luxury tents and lodges
which all face a water hole, a chance to watch animals come to drink throughout the day.

Location

Located near the Kimana Gate of the Amboseli National Park in Kenya’s south, Kilima Safari Camp offers an ideal location from which to explore the wildlife
and wilderness of this incredible park. Nairobi’s Wilson Airport offers a 30-minute flight to the Amboseli Airstrip with a transfer of approximately 20 minutes,
enjoying a ‘game-drive style’, to the Camp. If guests wish to drive from Nairobi, the journey will take approximately four hours.

Rooms / Tents

Kilima Safari Camp in the Amboseli National Park offers a combination of accommodation options with tents and lodges set out in a lush green landscape.
There are 50 Classic Safari Tents which can be made up of Double or Single Beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
There are 10 Superior Safari Tents that offer a double bed with an en-suite bathroom comprising a ball-and-claw bathtub as well as a shower.
The 12 Lodge Rooms can be set up as either a double bed or twin beds, with bathrooms comprising a shower, toilet, and sink.

Each accommodation option has a fan, a safe for storing valuables, and a sitting area with a chair and writing desk. There is a cupboard, bathrobe and slippers for guests to use and room service is available.

Game Viewing / Activities

Incredible game viewing can be enjoyed within the beautiful Amboseli National Park. With undulating hills, fantastic viewpoints, and a huge number of animals to be spotted during a game drive or a bush walk always available to visitors. Guests staying at Kilima Safari Camp can look out for the plethora of elephants that live here, keep an eye out for the many bird species in the area, or simply stand and stare at the magical Mt Kilimanjaro. Guests can visit a Maasai Village and spend time learning about techniques, traditions, and tales of a rich culture.
