Kilima Safari Camp Amboseli

Location

Kilima Safari Camp is located in the Amboseli National Park area, adjacent to the Kimana Gate Park entrance. The camp is set on a 360-acre site with breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. This region of Kimana in Amboseli is particularly renowned for its large elephant population. Guests can enjoy exceptional game viewing right from their tents, which face animal water pools. All public areas and guest rooms are oriented towards Mount Kilimanjaro.

Accommodation

Total Tents: 72, comprising of:

• 50 Classic Safari Tents – Each includes a double and single bed, plus a large private balcony
• 10 Superior Safari Tents – Feature four-poster double beds and spacious bathrooms with lion claw bathtubs
• 12 Lodge Rooms – Each includes a double and single bed, with large private balconies

Facilities

The camp features an open general public area offering bar and dining services, as well as a nature room with wildlife information and space for guest lectures. Guests can also enjoy a free-form swimming pool and a massage center. Kilima Safari Camp provides 4×4 vehicles with experienced driver guides. A clinic with a resident nurse is available for guests.

• Game Drives: Kilima Safari Camp has a fleet of 4×4 vehicles with driver guides and offers excellent game drive experiences. “Fly-in” safari packages from Nairobi and Mombasa are also available.
• Guest Lectures: A local naturalist provides complimentary wildlife talks. In the evenings, traditional Maasai dancers entertain guests.
• Nature Walks: For a small fee, Maasai Morans guide guests on immersive walks through the park’s scenic landscapes.
