Siana Springs, In the Maasai language spoken in the area, Siana streams means “the many springs.” It really is a place with lots of plants, animals, and culture features. As far as species variety and natural history go, it’s the best. This makes the Camp an ideal eco-lodge from which to watch the wildebeest migration, which is the world’s biggest wildlife show.There are also other types of mammals, beautiful bird species, and the unique environment of the Maasai Mara. The Camp has a long past that goes back to 1920, when the first Game Warden chose the spot where it is now to build his Camp. The Camp is now on a Wildlife Conservancy that was left to the local community by a family member in the late 1970s. The Oltukai Mara Limited owns and runs Siana Springs Tented Camp.
