Camp Oloshaiki Mara

Camp Oloshaiki is a small and exclusive tented camp nestled in the lush riverine woodlands of the Talek River, overlooking the Posee plains of the magnificent Maasai Mara Game Reserve. This reserve is the richest game reserve in Kenya and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, known for its abundant wildlife and the spectacular migration of massive game herds.

The camp offers spacious and charming tented pavilions, each thoughtfully designed for privacy and comfort. Every tent features a private verandah and is tastefully furnished with handcrafted four-poster beds – one king-size and one queen-size – adorned with fine linens and mosquito nets. An additional single bed can be provided without compromising the spacious feel.

A standout feature of the accommodation at Camp Oloshaiki is the luxurious en-suite bathroom and dressing area, complete with a large wardrobe. These bathrooms are built with natural stone, and the floors are clad with locally sourced Talek stone. The showers are generously sized with ample hot and cold water. The bathrooms are considered some of the most tasteful in the Mara. All furniture and fittings are handmade using local timber and materials, reflecting a deep connection with the local environment.
