Your Guide
You’ll be guided by your own experienced driver/guide throughout the 6-day journey. Transportation between parks will be in a private 4WD Land Cruiser Jeep, offering higher seating and rugged all-wheel drive. First-class train tickets from Amboseli to Mombasa are included, with transfers to your hotel or resort.

6 Days Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru – Amboseli Safari
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve (265 km – Approx. 5-6 hrs)
Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
We’ll begin our adventure with a 7:30 am pickup from your hotel or airport. Your Adventure In The Wild Safaris driver/guide will be your host, escort, and wildlife expert for the next 6 days, sharing secrets about the land and wildlife you’re going to meet.
Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Full Day
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today is dedicated to game drives across the Mara. The park supports an intense concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. During the Great Migration (July–October), witness wildebeests and zebra in massive numbers.
We’ll visit the Mara River where crocodiles and hippos are found. Lions, leopards, buffalo, cheetah, rhino, and gazelle are also present across the savannah.
Optional excursions include a hot air balloon safari at dawn or a visit to a local Maasai village to experience their culture and purchase handicrafts.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru (290 km – Approx. 6-7 hrs)
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
We depart the Mara after a short morning game drive, heading to Lake Nakuru with scenic stops along the way. Lake Nakuru hosts flamingos (though numbers are declining) and abundant birdlife including pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, ostriches, storks, herons, and eagles. You may also spot Rothschild’s giraffe and white rhino along the lakeshore. Overnight stay at Nakuru.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park (410 km – Approx. 7-8 hrs)
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Early morning game drive at Nakuru, then departure to Amboseli. En route, admire the Rift Valley escarpments and, weather permitting, views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrival at Amboseli in the afternoon followed by a short game drive before dinner.
Day 5: Amboseli Full Day
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today focuses on Amboseli’s large tusked elephants and other wildlife. Observe Mount Kilimanjaro in the background, and keep an eye out for zebra, buffalo, and gazelle. Early morning game drives maximize your viewing opportunities.
Day 6: Amboseli – Emali Train Station – Mombasa
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch
Exit Amboseli and head to Emali train station (~100 km, 1 hr). On the way, pass through Tsavo West and Tsavo East for more wildlife viewing. Your driver/guide assists with tickets and transfers to the Madaraka Express, Kenya’s new high-speed train to Mombasa and the coast.
