Travel by 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep to the Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, and Tsavo West parks searching for predators, grazers, birds, and exotic fish. Custom requests are welcome, and after all the parks and wildlife, you’ll be whisked off by high-speed train to Kenya’s coast for sun and relaxation.

Note: You may also continue from Tsavo East to Mombasa by safari vehicle if preferred.

Your Guide & Transportation

Throughout the 6-day journey, you’ll be guided, hosted, and cared for by your experienced driver/guide. All transportation between parks and game drives is in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep, offering elevated seating and rugged all-wheel drive.

First Class train tickets from Tsavo West to Mombasa are included, along with transfer to your hotel or resort.

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Distance: 265 km – Approx. 5/6 hrs

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi Airport. Your driver/guide from Adventure In The Wild Safaris will collect you for the journey to the legendary Masai Mara. This world-famous park is renowned for the Great Migration – an incredible procession of wildlife moving from the Serengeti to the Mara.

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Full Day

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Explore Kenya’s most popular park with its deep savannahs and iconic acacia trees. Spot the “Big Five” – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo – due to the high density of animals. At the Mara River, observe hippos, crocodiles, and crossing wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. Additional wildlife includes impala, eland, Masai giraffe, cheetah, and hyena.

Optional excursions include:

• Early morning hot air balloon ride over the Mara – $420 per person (enquire with your guide)
• Visit to a local Maasai village – $20 per person payable to the village (arrange with your safari driver/guide)

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

Distance: 240 km – Approx. 4 hrs

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After a short game drive in the Mara, depart for Lake Naivasha, stopping along the Great Rift Valley for scenic views. Naivasha is an elevated lake rich with migratory birds, fish, and hippos. Enjoy an afternoon boat safari and spot wildlife like zebras and antelopes on the shores.

Visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for a guided walking safari to see pelicans, cormorants, wildebeest, waterbuck, zebra, and gazelle.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

Distance: 350 km – Approx. 5/6 hrs

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Depart early from Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park, stopping en route for scenic vistas. Amboseli is renowned for its elephant herds and stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. With luck, the clouds will clear to reveal its snow-capped peak. Enjoy a game drive and settle into your lodge or tented camp.

Day 5: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park

Distance: 100 km – Approx. 2 hrs

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Drive to Tsavo West, one of Kenya’s oldest parks, featuring hills, golden savannahs, and lush oases. Enjoy game drives spotting giraffe, buffalo, hartebeest, dik-dik, monkeys, and baboons. Visit Mzima Springs for hippos and crocodiles, including a unique underwater viewing platform. Spend your final night in this scenic reserve.

Day 6: Tsavo West – Kenya Beach Resorts

Drive to Mtito Andei train station for your high-speed Madaraka Express journey to Mombasa and the Kenyan coast. Travel through Tsavo West and Tsavo East for additional wildlife viewing. Your driver/guide will assist with tickets and transfer to your beach resort.
