Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Safari Driver Guide from
Adventure In The Wild Safaris. You will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for overnight stay.
During the transfer, your guide will brief you about your upcoming safari and offer advice such as the best options
for currency exchange.

Day 2: Drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park – 282kms / Approx. 5hrs

After breakfast, you will leave Kampala and head north towards the largest and most visited national park in Uganda –
Murchison Falls National Park. The scenic drive via the Masindi route takes approximately 5 hours,
passing through towns like Luweero and Masindi. You’ll get a vivid view of Uganda’s rural life, with roadside vendors,
farmers in their fields, and lush green landscapes. Upon arrival at the park, you’ll check into your lodge and enjoy lunch.

In the late afternoon, your first exciting game drive begins. Expect to encounter wildlife including
lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, and many savanna bird species. Your safari vehicle features
a pop-up roof and wide windows for optimal photography and game viewing. Accompanied by your Driver Guide and a Uganda
Wildlife Authority Ranger, you’ll get expert insights and spot more wildlife during this immersive drive.

Day 3: Game Viewing Drive & Boat Safari Cruise on the Nile River

Begin your day with an early morning breakfast followed by a sunrise game drive across the savanna plains near the
Lake Albert Delta. This is the golden hour of the wilderness, when lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and
other animals become active. Murchison Falls is the only park in Uganda where sightings of the “Big Five” are possible.

After your morning drive, return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, get ready for one of the highlights
of your adventure: a boat safari cruise on the Nile River. You will move gently along the riverbanks,
watching crocodiles basking, herds of elephants cooling off, and hippos frolicking in the water. Bird lovers will enjoy
sights of fish eagles, storks, and many more species.

As you cruise upstream, you’ll reach the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls—the most powerful
waterfall in the world. Here, the Nile River narrows from 50 meters to just 6 meters and drops 43 meters into a boiling
cauldron. The thunderous sound and misty air create an awe-inspiring experience.

Disembark at the base and take a guided hike to the top of the falls. This historic trail was once trekked by Winston
Churchill in 1907. Enjoy panoramic views of the falls and the park before meeting your driver guide at the top. You’ll
then cross the Nile by ferry and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Murchison Falls Park – Return to Kampala City – 282kms / Approx. 5hrs

After an early breakfast, set off for one final game drive in the park with a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger. Each
drive presents new opportunities and surprises, making every moment in Murchison Falls unforgettable. After the drive,
cross the Nile again by ferry and begin your journey back to Kampala.

Stop over in Masindi for lunch at the historic Masindi Hotel, Uganda’s oldest hotel built in 1923.
It once hosted Hollywood legends Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn during the filming of “The African Queen.”

On your way back, visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you’ll go on foot with a trained ranger to
track Uganda’s only wild rhinos. This trek lasts about 1.5 hours and offers a close and respectful encounter with these
magnificent endangered animals.

Your incredible safari with Adventure In The Wild Safaris concludes as you return to Kampala,
filled with unforgettable memories and stories of Uganda’s unmatched natural beauty.
