Starts in Nairobi / Ends in Nairobi – We’ll pick you up from the airport or your hotel. Begin your safari from the comfort of a private pop-top 4×4 Jeep in Kenya, then switch to your own 4×4 pop-top Land Cruiser Jeep upon entry into Tanzania.

Itinerary Highlights

With Mt. Kilimanjaro looming in the background, you’ll journey across Kenya’s plains and into Tanzania, arriving at the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park – a haven for elephant herds and tree-climbing lions. Birdwatchers will marvel at the spectacular display of migratory birds including a sea of pink flamingos.

Next, travel to the Ngorongoro Crater – one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you’ll spot lions, black rhinos, Cape buffalo, hippos, wildebeest, and countless others. It holds one of the world’s densest concentrations of wildlife.

Enjoy a magical sunrise at the crater rim during breakfast, followed by a scenic drive with a lunch stop in Arusha before heading back to Nairobi.

Day 1: Nairobi – Namanga – Lake Manyara

Distance: Nairobi to Lake Manyara – 370 km (Approx. 7 hrs)
Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

0700 hrs: Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi airport.

Begin your exciting cross-border drive into Tanzania, the land of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy scenic views and varied landscapes as you travel toward Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, settle in and get ready for your safari adventure in this unique and picturesque park.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After an early breakfast at Lake Manyara, we’ll set off with packed lunch boxes and travel to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater – one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa.

Descend into the crater for an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing. Keep your eyes open for elephant, lion, hippo, cheetah, rhino, and many more fascinating species in their natural habitat.

Lunch will be enjoyed at the scenic Ngoitoktok springs picnic site inside the crater.

Day 3: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Namanga – Nairobi

Distance: Ngorongoro to Nairobi – 410 km (Approx. 7–8 hrs with stops)
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Begin the day with a delightful breakfast while enjoying sunrise views from the crater rim.

After breakfast, we’ll depart from Ngorongoro and head toward Arusha for a lunch stop. Then, proceed on the return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the early evening.
