Siana Springs in the local Maasai language means “the plentiful springs”. It is truly an area of abundance in flora, fauna,
and cultural attributes. The region epitomizes diversity in every aspect, with its rich species and fascinating natural history making
the camp an ideal eco-lodge from which to witness the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the wildebeest migration.

The area is home to a wide variety of mammalian species, captivating birdlife, and the unique Maasai Mara ecosystem.
The camp boasts a storied past dating back to the 1920s, when the first Game Warden selected this exact site for his base.
Today, the camp is situated within a Wildlife Conservancy that was entrusted to the local community in the late 1970s.
