Seronera Wildlife Lodge

Set upon a picturesque rocky foundation, the Seronera Wildlife Lodge is a wonderfully positioned, warm, and inviting African lodge located in the Seronera region of the famous Serengeti National Park. The main area boasts tall ceilings, abundant woodwork, and impressive lighting, with a spacious dining area where dark wood tables are set with white tablecloths and classic crockery. Guests can choose to dine outside during the evenings or spend time around a crackling fire pit afterward.

The lounge area is furnished with comfortable sofas, and featured rocks seem to support a thick-beamed ceiling, with rock-art images depicted on the white-faced boulders. A cozy bar is located in the corner of the sitting area, with an additional bar near the pool. The swimming pool is uniquely carved out of a natural rock formation, offering both aesthetic appeal and refreshing dips. Guests can also enjoy the panoramic viewing platform with its 360-degree view of the Serengeti plains. A small gift shop is available for browsing souvenirs and local crafts.

Location

The Seronera Wildlife Lodge is located in the animal-rich Seronera region of the Serengeti National Park, just a 20-minute drive from Seronera Airstrip. Flights from Arusha Airport to Seronera take approximately one hour, while overland travel from Arusha takes five to six hours.

Rooms / Tents

The lodge features 75 comfortable rooms built in a two-story terraced building around a courtyard. Each room blends dark wood and neutral tones, with large windows that open wide to let in the fresh Serengeti air. Guests can choose between Double Rooms with king-size beds or Twin Rooms with two single beds. The lodge also offers a Presidential Suite and a Junior Suite for those seeking additional luxury.

All rooms are en-suite with a vanity, toilet, and shower. Tea/coffee-making facilities and safes for securing valuables are also provided.
