Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge stands as one of the only properties perched on the end of the Ngorongoro Crater, with views simply captivating over the famous wildlife destination. The main area includes a spectacular bar that stands proudly in the center of the main area, and the dining room is set up with individual tables with views over the crater. Location

Ngorongoro Serena is located right on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy, overlooking the famous Ngorongoro Crater Game Park. A flight from Arusha Airport to Lake Manyara Airstrip will take approximately 30 minutes, and from here guests will be taken on an 80-minute drive to the Ngorongoro Serena. If guests choose to drive, the journey will take approximately three and a half hours from Arusha.

There are 74 luxury Guest Rooms and one Guest Suite, all providing spectacular views over the Ngorongoro Crater. Each room has a rock-enclosed verandah, and the interior boasts dark floors with cream walls boldly displaying rock art that compliments the colorful, African-inspired throws draped over the crisp, white linens.

Each room features a safe for valuables, a small desk and chair, and a tea/coffee-making station. The Guest Suite, known as the Kimba Suite, includes a king-size bed, lounge area, television, and mini-bar. All rooms and suites have access to WiFi and room service. The en-suite bathrooms contain a toilet, vanity, and bath with an overhead shower, and guests are provided with eco-boutique bath amenities.
