Mara Engai Lodge

Location

Mara Engai Lodge is located on the Siria escarpment which overlooks the magnificent Masai Mara Game Reserve. Guests can fly from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport into the Serena Airstrip, a flight of approximately 45 minutes, where they will be met and transferred to the lodge through the wilderness. A drive from Nairobi will take approximately five hours.

Rooms / Tents

The 20 beautifully appointed luxury tents at Mara Engai stand on raised platforms offering incredible views of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Each tent is decorated in classic safari hues of beiges and browns, with splashes of brilliant oranges and reds.

Tents can be made up of Double Rooms with a king-size bed, Twin beds with two large double beds or Triple and Family Rooms which offer a king-size bed and a large double in each tent. There is a small desk and chair, a comfortable sitting area, a ceiling fan, and a safe. Bathrooms are en-suite and include double vanities plus a glorious waterfall shower.

Guests can enjoy game drives daily which take place in 4×4 vehicles, with early morning or late afternoon adventures exploring the wildlife wonders of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Bush walks are possible with qualified guides and for those looking for a different point of view, they can take to the skies for an incredible hot air balloon adventure.

Bird watchers will be thrilled with the over 600 species to be seen in the region and for something different, quad biking and cultural visits to a nearby Masai Mara village are wonderful alternative activity options.
