Lobo Wildlife Lodge is located along Tanzania’s Great Migration route, tucked in the Northern sector of the Serengeti National Park. Built into a rocky outcrop, the lodge’s wooden structure and brown roofs blend in perfectly with its natural and wilderness surroundings. The elevation of the lodge offers the perfect viewing spot over the surrounding grassy plains. The suites are well-appointed offering magnificent views and guests have the option of cooling off in the swimming pool that overlooks the surrounding wilderness and has a wooden bridge and waterfall feature.
Dining takes place in the Chui Restaurant, where tall beams hold up the wooden roof, a mix of rock and wood creating a spacious area for meals created by talented chefs. The Pango indoor bar boasts an impressive cocktail menu and the Ikoma Sundowner outdoor bar boasts incredible scenic views over the Serengeti plains. Visitors can spend time in the small gift boutique with an array of local crafts and gifts to purchase.
Location
Located in the far north regions of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and only 13 miles away from Kenya’s Masai Mara, Lobo Wildlife Lodge is ideally located to offer exceptional safaris and game viewing, including the Great Wildebeest Migratory Corridor. A flight from Arusha to the Lobo Airstrip will take around one hour and guests are then met and transferred by road a further 2.5 miles to the Lodge.
Rooms / Tents
The 75 rooms located at Lobo Wildlife Lodge are simple in design and decor, each neutral in color with wooden features around the bed and around the windows as well as shiny wooden floors. They can be configured as Double Rooms with a king bed in each and Twin Rooms which have two separate beds set up for guests, and the complement also includes a Family Suite, a Junior Suite and a Presidential Suite.
Each room has a writing desk and chair with chairs set up as a small sitting area, with a minibar and safe in the rooms. The rooms have wifi and all include an en-suite bathroom that has a shower, vanity and toilet.

Game Viewing / Activities
Located in a prime game viewing area in the Serengeti’s far Northern region and close to Kenya’s Masai Mara, the Lobo Wildlife Lodge is the ideal place to watch animals passing by, especially during the time of the great wildebeest migration. The Lodge offers other wonderful safari experiences such as bird watching and a hot air balloon ride over the vast plains of the Serengeti. Picnics can be arranged when out on game drives all day and specialized safaris such as photographic safaris are popular here.
