The classic semi-permanent tented camp, Gnu Migration Camp, is in operation from June until November and strategically set up in the Kogatende section of the Northern Serengeti. Only a few minutes away from the Mara River, this is the place to be for guests wanting to catch a glimpse of the famous migration crossing. The main tented area is large and fitted with dining tables and chairs, as well as a comfortable sitting area. Guests can dine inside or outside weather permitting.
The accommodation tents are subtle in design and decor, comfortable bedding and equipped with minimal furniture, adding to the spacious feel of the tents. Guests can enjoy game drives and the much-sought after hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti, during their stay. After a day of adventure, gathering around a crackling campfire to share stories of the bush, is a popular way to end your day at Gnu Migration Camp.
Location
The Gnu Migration Camp is located in the Northern part of the Serengeti National Park, a 40-minute drive from the Kogatende airstrip. Guests will fly from Arusha to Kogatende, a journey of around one hour.
Rooms / Tents
There are 10 spacious tents located at Gnu Migration Camp of which eight are Double or Twin tents, with a king or two twin beds respectively. The Family tent is connected with two en-suite rooms. There is a neat sitting area and a writing table and chair and over the beds, a mosquito net adds a splash of local art with a colorful sash over the bottom of the white nets. There is WiFi in the rooms.

Game Viewing / Activities
Game viewing in the incredible Serengeti National Park is spectacular, and guests staying at the Gnu Migration Camp can enjoy a 4×4 game drive in the morning and late afternoon, and the option to enjoy a hot air balloon ride is a safari treat. Bird-lovers can enjoy wonderful bird sightings in this region.
