Kizingoni Villas

Along the pristine beachfront of Lamu Island, seven exquisite and spacious beach homes known as Kizingoni Villas offer an authentic and intimate escape to paradise. This exclusive retreat includes a private speedboat and skipper for personalized day trips to deserted islands and thrilling watersport adventures.

An attentive team of staff, including a skilled chef, ensures all your vacation needs are taken care of. Guests may opt to enjoy chef-prepared meals or use the fully equipped kitchen to craft their own dishes after gathering local ingredients.

The villas are enclosed within traditional Swahili-style walled compounds, with thatched roofs, intricately carved furnishings, African-inspired décor, and curated local artwork that enhance a luxurious yet homely ambiance. Location

Kizingoni Villas are situated on Kizingoni Beach, Lamu Island, along Kenya’s eastern coastline. The nearest airport is Lamu, just nine miles away. Flights from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Wilson Airport take approximately one hour, followed by a scenic boat transfer to the villas.

Rooms / Villas

The seven spacious and beautifully designed villas each feature private swimming pools and unique architectural highlights such as rooftop terraces and ocean views. All villas are self-catering, but a team of helpful staff is included to enhance your stay.

Kizingoni House includes four en-suite bedrooms and a private pool. Wazi Dubu features six en-suite bedrooms, sleeps up to 12 guests, and has a pool. Kuni Jogoo offers five en-suite bedrooms with a surrounding pool. Jahazi includes four double en-suite bedrooms, one master en-suite bedroom, and sleeps up to 10 guests with a private pool.

Peph House spans three levels and includes a twin room on the ground floor, two double rooms on the first floor, and a master bedroom on the top floor, all en-suite. It also features a guest house with two additional en-suite double bedrooms, a massage room, and a pool.

Kaskazi consists of four towers: the front two house four en-suite bedrooms, one back tower contains the kitchen, and the other offers communal living spaces. It includes a pool and bar. Lastly, Kusini is a three-level home with an en-suite master bedroom on the first floor, two en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor, and two more outside. A pool connects to a central lounge via a wide verandah.

All villas offer air-conditioning, WiFi, entertainment areas, fully equipped kitchens, and daily housekeeping services.
