This seasonal camp operates from June to October and is located at the classic and picturesque Sonzo private site in Kogatende. The camp is not permanent, and its flexibility in location allows it to be positioned in the most strategic spots to follow the unpredictable movements of the Great Migration. Drawing on years of experience and expert knowledge, the team chooses locations that avoid overcrowded areas while offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.

Although wildebeest migration sightings can never be guaranteed, this area is especially well-placed during these months for observing dramatic river crossings at the Mara River. The Kogatende region features rolling savannah woodlands and sweeping views of the escarpment bordering Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
