Elewana Pioneer
Elewana Pioneer
Situated near the Moru Kopje and commanding breathtaking views over Lake Magadi and vast, open plains, Elewana Pioneer Camp seems to blend in perfectly with its wilderness surroundings. The vibe in camps is reminiscent of early 1930’s campers and in true Elewana style, the Camp aims at leaving a ‘zero footprint’ mark in its wake, a true eco-friendly camp. The 12 tents are large and boast views out into the bush around them.
Meals are served in the elegant dining tent which is also equipped with a comfortable sitting area and bar, all set up under a tall thatched roof. Guests can cool down in the refurbished swimming pool, a refreshing break in between game drives. There is also WiFi and laundry services (extra charge) at the Camp. Visitors have a chance to enjoy brilliant wildlife experiences and if timed right, the opportunity to witness the great wildebeest migration.
Location
Elewana Pioneer Camp is located in the Southern Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The best way to get to the Camp is to fly from Arusha to the Seronera Airstrip, which is a one hour flight. From here, guests are driven 50 minutes to the Camp.
