Sandie’s Baobab Beach Hotel gets its name from the iconic Baobab trees found scattered around the resort grounds—an oasis located in an idyllic setting. The main area contains the Beach Gallery restaurant where buffet-style breakfast, lunches, and dinners are served, offering a good mix of international and Mediterranean fare. The Pool Bar serves snacks and a selection of beverages during the day, while the swimming pool is an idyllic central feature for guests to enjoy and cool off. There is direct access to the beach, and all facilities face the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Location

Sandie’s Baobab Beach Hotel is located on Zanzibar’s Nungwi Beach. Guests can choose to take a two-hour ferry from Dar es Salaam or a 20-minute flight from Dar, followed by a 90-minute scenic road transfer to the hotel. Flights may originate from international destinations as well as domestic or regional airports and airstrips.
