The lodge is located on the shores of Lake Naivasha with lush lawns that seem to end where the lake begins. Hippo come out to graze at night while plains game roam during the day, making Lake Naivasha Simba the ideal location to wildlife watch from the comfort of the lodge. There is a central restaurant and the Ibis pub—a refreshing place to unwind at the end of the day. 70 rooms are located in blocks and are decorated in vibrant colors and authentic Kenyan design.
The swimming pool is heated with a children’s pool and playground, making Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge an ideal option for families. Other facilities include a spa, a gymnasium, a tennis court, and a pool table. There are many activities to keep guests occupied in between wildlife and nature adventures.
Location
Located in the Great Rift Valley region of Kenya, Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge is situated on the Moi South Lake Road. It is a 90-minute drive from Nairobi and lies approximately 11 miles from the town of Naivasha.
Rooms / Tents
Blocks of rooms are set out along the manicured gardens comprising a total of 70 rooms. Some rooms are located on higher floors offering a balcony, while others on the ground floor open up to a terrace. All rooms are decorated in bright colors and depict true Kenyan culture and style, with a small sitting area, a writing desk, television, safety deposit box, and ceiling fan in each room. The rooms are all en-suite and bathrooms comprise a toilet, sink, and shower. Bedding can be configured as a double, twin, or triple room.

Game Viewing / Activities
Nature walks to the edge of the lake will bring guests up close and personal with flora and fauna and a chance to spot some of the incredible bird species found in this area, with over 400 species recorded. Boat rides are popular at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge, with a chance to witness flamingos in great numbers, hippos at play, and plains game coming to drink from the lake. A boat ride over to Crescent Island will introduce you to animals such as waterbuck, warthogs, and other antelope. Game drives can be enjoyed in the Lake Naivasha National Park and nearby Hell’s Gate National Park, conducted by the guest’s ground handlers.
