On the edge of glistening Lake Naivasha stands the Lake Naivasha Country Club. Offering stunning views, the property is set on 55 acres, a large, picturesque property of sprawling lawns and natural wilderness, all focused around the key feature, Lake Naivasha. There are 50 rooms of varying sizes and layouts, perfectly equipped to accommodate leisure and business visitors. The main area is inviting, with a large, comfortable lounge area and a selection of restaurants for guests to choose from.

Flavours Restaurant is the spot to start your day — the buffet breakfast is a feast for the eyes and stomach, and views over the lush gardens add to the ambiance. Guests can enjoy lunch at the Terrace Alfresco with views over Lake Naivasha, and savor a slice of cake or a fresh pastry in the Rolling Pin. Refreshments are served at the Tavern Bar or outside at the pool bar, which serves delicious firewood pizza beside the sparkling swimming pool.

Lake Naivasha Country Club is situated in the Naivasha region near Kenya’s Lake Naivasha, only a one-hour drive from the capital city of Nairobi.

Lake Naivasha Country Club has a complement of rooms, suites, and cottages. All boasting balconies with views over the garden, decorated in browns and beiges with splashes of greens, reds, and blues, the floors either wooden or tiled. There are 13 Standard Twins, eight Premium Twin Rooms, 12 Premium Rooms, and 11 Deluxe Rooms.

Additional accommodation comprises three Executive Cottages, two Executive Suites, and one simply stunning Presidential Suite. All accommodation offers a comfortable sitting area, a flat-screen TV, a wardrobe, and the option of room service. All accommodation is en-suite with either a bath or shower, a toilet, and a sink with slippers and robes for guests to use during their stay.

Game Viewing / Activities

Game drives are the highlight of staying at the Lake Naivasha Country Club, with 4×4 experiences available in the early morning and late afternoon. Guests also have the opportunity to embark on a night drive to see amazing animals such as porcupines, hippos, and cats such as the elegant civet.

Wildlife walks offer the chance to witness animals such as wildebeest and giraffes and to learn about the incredible wonders of nature as your guide introduces you to flora, fauna, and the small creatures of the wilderness. Birdlife is incredible in this area and a very popular activity, perhaps spotted from your seat on a boat as you glide across the lake to Crescent Island and the Crescent Wildlife Sanctuary.
