Lemala Serengeti – Mara & Ndutu

Traversing the Serengeti, Lemala Serengeti sets up camp in the Mara and Ndutu regions, depending on the time of year you visit.
The comfortable tents are set up in the Northern Serengeti between June and October, then shift to the Southern region of the Park between December and March.
The tents are classic in design and decor and are equipped with a verandah with views over the vast plains around you.

Evenings are spent around a campfire where guests can share stories and experiences while sipping their favorite beverage of choice.
Meals can be enjoyed inside the dining tent or outside, and there is a comfortable sitting area and bar.
Young safari-goers can enjoy entertainment through the Lemala Cubs program, where children learn to track animals, make bows and arrows, and acquire the skills to throw spears.

Location

The camps at Lemala Serengeti are found either in the Ndutu area in the Southern Serengeti National Park (between December and March)
or near the northern plains of the North. Guests visiting Ndutu will fly into the Ndutu Airstrip or Kogatende Airstrip for the Mara region,
an approximate one-hour journey to either. The drive to the campsites will take around twenty minutes through the bush—your first safari drive!

Rooms / Tents

12 luxury tents stand perfectly appointed at Ndutu, with private verandahs for optimal viewing.
There are 10 Standard Tented Suites at Mara boasting king-size beds. Both campsites have two honeymoon or family-tented suites,
which comprise two bedrooms with a shared lounge area. There is a wardrobe and a sitting area, with a writing desk and chair in each tent.

Beds are covered in neutral bedding with splashes of color in throws and pillows. The sides of the tent open up to let fresh air in and connect you with the wilderness.
Tall canvas ceilings add to the grandeur of the room and stand-alone lighting adds a warm ambiance to the rooms.
The tents are en-suite with a flush toilet and hot safari-style or ‘bucket’ shower and modern amenities for guests to use during their stay.
