Ole Serai – Kogatende

Ole Serai Kogatende is a destination set along the Great Migration corridor in the northern Kogatende region of Tanzania. An understated luxury camping experience, the camp is set in a prime location, with large bodies of water nearby that invite wildlife to drink, offering excellent game viewing right from camp.

The beautifully appointed dining tent is set on a spacious deck with elegant indoor seating and comfortable chairs arranged outside. Evenings are spent around the fireplace or gathered at the Maasai Boma for dinner, before guests retreat to their private rooms — each offering breathtaking 180-degree views from their beds.

Location

The Ole Serai Kogatende Camp is located just 10 minutes from the Kogatende Airstrip in the northern Serengeti National Park, Tanzania. Flights from Arusha take about one hour, while driving takes around seven hours, covering approximately 280 miles.

Rooms / Tents

The camp features 14 luxury tented suites. 10 suites are fitted with king-size beds, while 4 offer twin beds. Each tent is tastefully decorated with a large headboard, crisp white linens, deep brown and black throws and cushions, and drawn-back curtains that allow for natural light and immersive views.

Interiors also include a neutral floor rug, writing desk, wardrobe, and wooden furniture. All tents are en-suite, with the king-bed suites offering both bathtubs and showers, and the twin-bed suites offering a shower only. Each bathroom includes a vanity, toilet, and luxury amenities.
