Nimali Mara Lodge presents 5-star luxury in the Northern Serengeti. With the Mara River just 35 minutes from the camp, guests are spoiled with the opportunity for incredible wildlife viewing. A large wooden-slatted deck with tables and chairs offers commanding views of the surrounding Serengeti. Accommodation comprises luxury, glass-fronted suites with a deck in front. Guests can soak in a bathtub while taking in sweeping views of the Serengeti.
Location
Nimali Mara is located in the northern region of the Serengeti National Park, close to Bitengi Village. Guests can fly into the Kogatende Airstrip from Arusha Airport, a one-hour flight followed by a 45-minute drive. The journey by road from Arusha is approximately 240 miles and takes around seven hours.
Rooms / Tents
There are 10 stunning tented lodges at Nimali Mara, featuring glass sliding doors that open to private verandahs. Eight are Standard Suites with king-size beds, while two Family or Honeymoon Tented Suites comprise two en-suite bedrooms and a shared lounge area. A plunge pool completes this private sanctuary.
Inside, guests will find a wardrobe, bar fridge, sitting area, and a small dining section with a writing desk. Neutral-toned throws and pillows accent crisp white linens. All bathrooms are en-suite and feature a double vanity, toilet, shower, and bathtub, along with locally sourced bathroom amenities.
