Severine Cottages and Lounge

A unique accommodation setup can be found at the Severine Cottages and Lounge. Offering a ‘home-away-from-home’ ambiance with four houses comprising two bedrooms in each, a full kitchen and bathroom, and a large verandah opening out onto the gardens. The cottages are made of typical, strong cottage wood and are decorated with touches of local Swahili influences and art.

Meals can be enjoyed at the lively Stables Bar and Restaurant which serves both local dishes and international cuisine. Guests can sit back and relax at the Stables Lounge or spend time after dinner sitting around a crackling outdoor fire pit.

Location

The Severine Cottages and Lounge is located in the quiet and upmarket suburb of Karen, a 25-minute drive from the center of Nairobi and 35 minutes away from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Rooms / Tents

Each of the four cottages available at Severine Cottages and Lounge is equipped with two bedrooms, with bedding configured as either a single bed plus a double bed. The room sizes are approximately 300 sq feet, or a larger 344 sq feet option with two single beds and a queen bed.

The 388 sq feet cottages can accommodate two single beds, one double, and a futon for that extra family member.

All cottages are decorated in neutral colours with splashes of colour and touches of Swahili artwork. Bedding is quality Egyptian cotton, and cottages are equipped with a full kitchen and a bathroom with either a shower or bath. There is a large balcony that opens up to the tranquil gardens.
