Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp

A comfortable bush camp experience awaits visitors to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park when you choose to stay at the Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp. Located a half-hour from the Seronera Airstrip, the location is exceptional and the simply comfortable main tent contains neatly set up dining tables with colorful runners. Meals served bring a mix of Mediterranean, Chinese, Indian and local African flavors to the table. There is a cozy lounge area with a small library and a bar neatly set up inside the main tent.

This semi-permanent camp offers a warm accommodation option that brings comfort in tented units connected by dusty walkways. The owners and team are Tanzanian and bring outstanding hospitality to all guests. Gathering around the campfire at night, guests can chat about their day on safari, sharing their highlights and hope for the next day’s adventure.

Location

The Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp is located in the Serengeti’s central region, a popular location for exceptional game viewing. A flight from Arusha to the Seronera airstrip will take approximately one hour, and from here, guests can enjoy a 30-minute safari transfer to the Camp. Driving from Arusha is far with a journey of 9 hours on the cards.

Rooms / Tents

At the Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp, there are 10 beautifully appointed tents with private verandahs overlooking the Serengeti Plains. Beds can be configured as either large Queen beds or Twin beds, and all are covered with a mosquito net. There is a small wooden trunk placed at the bottom of the beds. There is a small desk and chair on the verandah and all tents are en-suite, with a vanity, toilet and shower in place.

Game Viewing / Activities

While the main activities taking place include 4×4 safari drives in the early morning and late afternoon, guests staying at the Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp can enjoy the thrill of a hot air balloon ride, bird watching and guided bush walks with qualified guides. Cultural tours are available, giving guests a chance to spend time with local communities and a drive to the Serengeti Hippo Pool lies just 20 minutes away from the Camp.
