Peponi Hotel is located at Shela, Lamu Island on Kenya’s southeastern coast. There are one-hour flights from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta and Wilson Airports, with a 3-mile drive to the Peponi Hotel.

There are Standard Double and Single Rooms, equipped with either an extra-large double or fair-sized single bed. Superior Double and Single Rooms are fitted with an extra-large bed or two large double beds in the double, and either an extra-large double or one single bed in the Superior Single.
There is a fan in each room, a small sitting area, a safe for guests to store valuables, and a mini-bar. Tea/coffee-making facilities are available, as well as WiFi and 24-hour room service. All rooms look out to sea and are en-suite.
