Location

Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is located in the Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy, approximately 90 minutes by road from the Lake Manyara Airstrip. Flights from Arusha to the airstrip take around 30 minutes, while a drive from Arusha takes about four hours.

Rooms / Tents

The lodge offers 97 guest rooms situated in double-story, round buildings known as rondavels. Each rondavel contains four rooms, all featuring two queen-size beds and a furnished verandah with exceptional crater views. Room décor includes warm tones of red and brown, inspired by local tribal colors, with simple art and cozy furnishings.

Every room includes central heating, a safe for valuables, mini-bar, tea/coffee-making facilities, WiFi, and room service. En-suite bathrooms are equipped with a toilet, vanity, and a bathtub with overhead shower, along with complimentary toiletries.

Game Viewing / Activities

Guests can embark on exciting game drives into the famous Ngorongoro Crater or take part in walking safaris through the surrounding conservation area. Bird watching and scenic biking trails are also available for guests who want to explore more.
