Wildlife Safari Guidelines – Adventure In The Wild Safaris
- Respect the privacy of the wildlife; this is their natural habitat.
- Be cautious—animals are wild and unpredictable.
- Do not crowd animals or make sudden noises or movements.
- Never feed the animals; it disrupts their diet and encourages dependency.
- Keep quiet to avoid disturbing wildlife and fellow visitors.
- Stay inside your vehicle except in designated picnic or walking areas.
- Observe the speed limit: 40 kph (25 mph).
- Do not drive off-road; it damages the environment.
- Maintain at least a 20-meter distance when viewing wildlife; pull to the side to let others pass.
- Do not litter or leave fires unattended; avoid discarding burning items.
- Respect Kenya’s cultural heritage—ask permission before photographing people or their homes. Dress appropriately.
- Leave the park by 6:00 p.m. unless staying overnight; night game drives are not permitted.
