Manyara’s Wildlife Lodge

Located just outside the Lake Manyara National Park and up on the edge of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, guests staying at Manyara’s Wildlife Lodge are guaranteed brilliant views. Luxury accommodations boasting private verandahs offer a private escape to one of Tanzania’s most popular and stunning safari destinations. The main area contains a lounge area with plenty of comfortable seating, a charming wooden bar with high seating, and a large dining area set up with individual tables and chairs.

Guests can enjoy time out lazing by the Lodge’s swimming pool, comfortable loungers laid out around the inviting waters, flanked by a green lawn, and adorned with a picturesque bridge over the middle. There is an internet café where guests can grab a quick coffee and the gift shop and boutique are stocked with souvenirs and local ware that guests can purchase. There are laundry services and a business center for those guests who need to work during their visit.

Location

Manyara Wildlife Camp is located just outside Tanzania’s Lake Manyara National Park. Guests can fly from either Arusha Airport (a half-hour flight) or from Kilimanjaro Airport (a 40-minute flight) to the Lake Manyara Airstrip. From here, guests will be driven the short 2 miles to the Lodge. A drive will take around three hours from Arusha.

Rooms / Tents

There are 100 Guest Rooms boasting a private verandah, tastefully decorated, and offering a comfortable stay for all guests. All rooms can be made up as a king-bedded or two queen-bedded. The beds have mosquito netting over them and rooms are decorated in browns and creams with headboards decorated in classic African design and depictions.

Each room includes a writing desk and chair, a small sitting area, air-conditioning, and a refrigerator. There is a tea/coffee-making station and guests are offered room service during their stay. All rooms are en-suite and contain a toilet, vanity, and shower, plus bathroom amenities for guests to use during their stay.

Game Viewing / Activities

Guests staying at Manyara’s Wildlife Lodge will enjoy the fantastic game drives and safari walks on offer in the Lake Manyara National Park. They will be able to embark on a night game drive, offering a chance to witness not just nocturnal favorites, but how the bush transforms under the moonlight.

Other activities include boat rides, horse riding, hiking, and even playing a game of football with local community members. Guests can also visit nearby attractions such as the Marera Village Gallery (6 miles away), the African Galleria (a 15-minute walk away), or Lake Duluti, just 10 minutes from the Lodge.
