The rooms are neatly decorated with mosquito netting and verandahs opening up to wonderful views.
Location
Manda Bay is located on the island of the same name, in the Lamu region of Kenya’s east coast. Guests can fly from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta or Wilson Airports, a journey of around one hour, where guests will be met and transferred a further four and a half miles to Manda Bay.
Rooms / Tents
22 palm-thatched rooms are varying in size and location. Each room has a verandah and offers views over the garden or ocean, and all are equipped with a fan, a small living area, tea/coffee-making facilities, 24-hour room service, and WiFi.
There are 11 Beachfront Rooms with twin or king-size beds, with one of the rooms ideal for an extra bed as it is a little larger. There are five Palm Rooms with twin or king-size beds and with one Palm Room big enough to put an extra bed for families. The six Garden Rooms offer double or twin bed configurations.
The rooms are unique in that they have open spaces where glass or shutter windows would be, truly bringing the ocean, beach, and garden ambiance into the room.
