Location

Kubu Kubu Tented Camp is located in the central Serengeti, with the closest airstrip, Seronera, located 50 miles away. Flights will take approximately 90 minutes from Arusha with a road journey taking around six hours from Arusha. Guests will be transferred through the wilderness to Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge, a journey of around thirty minutes.

The 25 luxury tents at Kubu Kubu Tented Camp comprise a solid entrance with the tented living space set up on a raised platform, all with a private deck that offers panoramic views of the incredible landscape. There are Suites, Interconnecting Rooms, and Quadruple Rooms.

The decor is a combination of subtle beiges and creams in contrast to the wooden floors and blending in with the canvas walls and ceiling. There is a mosquito net over the beds, a tea/coffee-making station, a fan, and mineral water for guests to enjoy. Game viewing in this area is spectacular. Animals roam the savannah and rocky outcrops and sightings of the “Big Five”, namely lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino are common.
