Kubu Kubu Tented Camp is perfectly positioned in the Serengeti, offering guests exceptional wildlife experiences, stunning views of rocky outcrops and open savannahs, and proximity to the Grumeti River and the legendary Olduvai Gorge. Location

Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge is located in central Serengeti. The closest airstrip, Seronera, is approximately 50 miles away. A flight from Arusha to Seronera takes about 90 minutes, followed by a 30-minute road transfer to the lodge. Alternatively, guests may reach the lodge via a six-hour scenic drive from Arusha.

Rooms / Tents

The Camp features 25 luxury tents, each elevated on a platform with a solid entrance and a private deck that offers panoramic views across the Serengeti. Accommodation options include Suites, Interconnecting Rooms, and Quadruple Rooms. Interiors feature a soft palette of beiges and creams, complemented by wooden floors and canvas walls and ceilings. Each tent is equipped with a mosquito-netted bed, fan, tea/coffee-making station, and mineral water.

The en-suite bathrooms are beautifully appointed with a vanity, toilet, and bathtub, and guests can also enjoy the unique experience of an outdoor shower with a view of the wilderness.

Game Viewing / Activities

Game viewing in this region is phenomenal, with the chance to spot the iconic “Big Five”—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—roaming freely among the savannah and rocky outcrops.
