Location

The Loisaba Airstrip is the closest location to the Elewana Loisaba Star Beds, located in Kenya’s Laikipia County. The flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport is a journey of around one hour. The drive to Elewana Loisaba Star Beds will take approximately 15 minutes. Guests can travel by the A2 highway from Nairobi; however, the journey will take around six hours.

Rooms / Tents

A truly unique African experience, the Elewana Loisaba Star Beds present a sleeping adventure like no other. Handcrafted four-poster beds are set on a wooden deck. Beautiful beds with mosquito netting peek out from a thatched roof and have a wardrobe and security safe available for guests. There are three Double Rooms and one Family Room, which comprises two separate platforms, two double beds set up on each, and each platform connected by an undercover walkway.

The open-air bathrooms for each Star Bed stay are designed to blend in with the rocky surroundings. The shower is hot and solar-heated, and there is a vanity and toilet too, all offering unrivaled views across the valley. There is an open sitting area and Maasai Warriors are located close by should you require anything during the night.
