Day 1: Mombasa – Nairobi – Masai Mara

Transfer from your Coast hotel to Moi Airport Mombasa.

06:00 hrs: Depart on Kenya Airways flight to Nairobi.

07:00 hrs: Arrive in Nairobi. Meet your driver-guide and enjoy breakfast.

Drive to Masai Mara via the central highlands, passing tea, coffee, and local farms. Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint before continuing through Masai country. Arrive at your lodge/tented camp in the afternoon.

Day 2: Masai Mara

Full day of unlimited game drives in the Masai Mara, renowned for the highest concentration of wildlife in East Africa. Search for the Big Five and many more species. Meals will be served at the camp or picnic-style in the reserve.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Start with a sunrise game drive, followed by breakfast. Enjoy one last morning game drive before early lunch and departure for Lake Nakuru. En route, stop to view Lakes Naivasha and Elmenteita. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in the late afternoon for a short scenic drive (time permitting).

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Samburu

After breakfast, explore Lake Nakuru – a birdwatcher’s paradise with flamingos, pelicans, and over 400 bird species. The park also hosts rhinos, warthogs, baboons, and antelope. Drive north through the Rift Valley into the dramatic landscapes of Samburu, arriving late afternoon.

Day 5: Samburu Game Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives focused along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Spot unique northern species such as the reticulated giraffe, Grévy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and beisa oryx.

Day 6: Samburu – Mt. Kenya – Nairobi – Mombasa

Early morning game drive and breakfast before departing Samburu. Drive through the central highlands with a stop for lunch near Mt. Kenya. Continue to Nairobi, passing tea, coffee, and pineapple plantations. Transfer to train or flight back to Mombasa (optional).

Day 7: Mombasa

08:30 hrs: Arrive at Mombasa Railway Station. Meet and transfer to your beach hotel.
