Pickup & Return: We’ll pick you up from your South Coast area hotel or resort and transfer you to Diani Airport for your morning flight. With a driving time of 15 hours, it’s a long haul from the Kenya coast to the country’s premier game park. But take a fly-in safari and you can fly from your beach resort to the beautiful Masai Mara in just about 2 hours!

Enjoy your beach vacation and then add in this safari flight package for a quick adventure getaway. Adventure In The Wild Safaris will pick you up at your hotel or resort in Diani Beach and fly you to the rolling grasslands of the Great Migration.

You’ll enjoy aerial views of the Rift Valley and Lake Natron in Tanzania. Weather permitting, you will also be treated to the sight of snow-peaked Mt. Kilimanjaro, the largest summit in Africa.

Your short flight ends at Masai Mara National Game Reserve where you’ll be greeted by a private Adventure In The Wild Safaris driver/guide and a 4×4 Jeep for a short game viewing drive as you are transferred to your accommodation. Freshen up, have lunch and get settled in your 4×4 Jeep for the first of several game drives during your stay.

The Masai Mara is the ultimate East Africa game park. The rich savannah is dotted with picture-postcard acacia trees and populated by immense herds of wildebeest and zebra. This diverse ecosystem is home to the Big Five, and you’ll find other predators here as well like cheetah, hyena and jackal. In contrast to these stealthy hunters is the graceful presence of numerous gazelle, topi and eland. And the Mara River, site of intense animal crossings, is home to ever-present hippo and crocodile.

Masai Mara Fly-in Safari Itinerary

Day 1 – DEPART FROM DIANI AIRPORT TO MASAI MARA

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

An early morning pickup from your beach resort will start your safari adventure as we bring you to Diani Airport. Your chartered flight lifts off between 7:30 hrs. – 8:30 hrs. for the approximately two-hour scenic trip. From your perch in the sky, you’ll get views of majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro and the sprawling Kenya landscape.

You’ll touch down at about 10:30 hrs. and be met by your Adventure In The Wild Safaris guide in a private, open-top 4×4 safari Jeep.

Day 2 – MASAI MARA FLY TO DIANI AIRPORT

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch

Let’s rise with the sun to make the most of our second day in the park. You may want to explore areas you haven’t yet covered. Enjoy the early morning light – this is a quiet, peaceful time in the Mara.

We’ll move on to breakfast back at your accommodation and maybe discuss ideas for our final safari drive. Then it’s time to grab that extra game viewing drive before heading over to the airstrip.
