Kirurumu Under Canvas Northern Serengeti is a beautifully set up mobile camp that follows the route of the great wildebeest migration, located in the Northern Serengeti between June and October, when there is a fantastic chance of watching the wildebeest cross the Mara River between Tanzania and Kenya. An intimate camp awaits guests, with a small dedicated team taking excellent care of you throughout your stay.
There is a main tent where delicious farm-to-table meals are served with a comfortable sitting area and small bar located nearby. In the evenings, guests can gather around a firepit and share stories of their day on safari. The eight tents are privately arranged and open to views of the surrounding wilderness. Activities include guided safari drives and the option to enjoy a hot air balloon adventure.
Location
Kirurumu Under Canvas Northern Camp is located in the Northern Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The flight from Arusha will take 90 minutes where guests will be met and transferred to the Kogatende Airstrip, a drive through the Park taking an hour and a half.
Rooms / Tents
Eight luxury tents stand in a private space in the Serengeti National Park, offering views from inside and out, with a private verandah and small sitting area. There are seven Double or Twin tents which can be made up as king beds or with two twin beds. The one Family Tent is spacious boasting two en-suite rooms. Each bed is made with crisp linens and a splash of brown, black and beige colors in throws, cushions and rugs.
There is mosquito netting over the beds, a writing desk and chair, a luggage rack and chest adding to the subtle luxury decor and feel in the tents. Each tent is en-suite with a shower, vanity and toilet, plus luxury bathroom amenities for guests to use during their stay. In-room dining is an option too.

Game Viewing / Activities
Game viewing at Kirurumu Under Canvas North includes daily game drives, usually early in the morning and late afternoon, while options such as a hot air balloon ride will offer guests a chance to soar above the Serengeti, viewing incredible wildlife from a fantastic aerial view. During the river crossing of the great migration, usually in July, guests will have a chance to witness this incredible occurrence, as they will be exactly in the right place, at the right time.
