Kiangazi House – Oserengoni

Perfectly positioned to explore Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, Kiangazi House is set in the wonderful Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary, a destination offering amazing views over Lake Naivasha. There are only seven en-suite bedrooms located either in or outside the main house. A large lounge, library, and well-stocked bar are a great place to unwind after a fantastic day on Safari.

Inside the house, guests can relax in a charming, cozy lounge area, enjoy a drink at the small bar, and dine in intimate comfort. The swimming pool is a neat, moderate size, set in the lush green manicured gardens with views in the distance over Lake Naivasha. This creates a truly tranquil setting to sit and relax in between game drives.

Location

Kiangazi House is located in the Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary in Kenya. A 20-minute flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Loldia Airstrip or a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Nairobi on good, tarred roads.

Rooms / Tents

With only seven rooms in total, a stay at Kiangazi House is an intimate one. There are three Luxury Rooms located inside the house and four Luxury Rooms located outside of the main house. All beds are four-poster and each room offers a comfortable sitting area, a chest, a place to hang clothes, and a cozy log fire.

The private balcony offers views over the property’s tranquil and lush gardens with captivating views over Lake Naivasha and the distant Rift Valley Escarpment. All rooms are en-suite with bathtub & shower over bath, basin and toilet.

Game Viewing / Activities

Game drives are arranged for guests staying at Kiangazi House, taking place either early in the morning or late afternoon, exploring the Oserengoni Conservancy and the impressive wildlife that calls the region home. A bush walk with a qualified guide offers the ultimate opportunity for visitors to discover the smaller wonders of the wilderness.

With a myriad of birds in the Lake Naivasha area, bird-watching excursions are extremely popular. Other activities include mountain biking, hiking, horse riding, and a visit to a nearby flower farm. Guests can choose to visit nearby Crater Lake Game Sanctuary or Lake Oloidien or play a round of golf, at a course located just two miles away.
