The Serena Beach Resort and Spa is located off Shanzu Beach off Kenya’s Mombasa coastline. The drive from Mombasa’s Moi International Airport is a journey of 10 miles.

Rooms / Tents

The Serena Beach Resort & Spa comprises 109 rooms and suites, overlooking either the gardens or the ocean. There are 48 Garden Rooms which can be configured as a queen bed or twin. The sitting area is modest with a verandah or balcony overlooking the garden or offering partial ocean views. There are 35 Superior Rooms with garden views, eight Superior Sea View Rooms, and eight Family Rooms that comprise two separate bedrooms in the unit.

The suites are beautifully decorated in local tones and complement local tradition. The two Lamu Suites have a master bedroom with a separate living area and private verandah. There are six Zanzibar Suites with a large, four-poster bed and comfortable living area. The two Luxury Suites have a queen bed with a massage shower and bath in the bathroom. The living room is upstairs and views overlook the gardens. Each room has air-conditioning, a mini-bar, tea/coffee-making facilities, WiFi, and television.
