An’Gata Ngorongoro
The An’Gata Ngorongoro offers one of the best opportunities to witness an incredible safari experience in the famous Ngorongoro Crater, located just inside the Crater Park area. The endangered Black Rhino and many incredible animals—from elephants to lions—can be spotted in the Crater.
This small and tranquil camp invites guests to stay a while and enjoy the wilderness, whether gathered around a crackling campfire or walking along the Crater rim. The main tent has a comfortable sitting area, tables set up for meals, and a small bar. Classic East African arts and crafts decorate the main tent, with guests able to take a seat outside and strike up a conversation with their local Maasai attendant.
Location
An’Gata Ngorongoro is located just within the Crater Park fence at the Lemala Ranger Post. A flight from Arusha Airport to Lake Manyara Airstrip takes around thirty minutes, and from there, guests will be collected and driven to the lodge, a journey of about one hour. The drive from Arusha to the lodge takes approximately three and a half hours.
