Mara Under Canvas

Mara Under Canvas is the closest camp to the Mara River, where each year vast herds of wildebeest make the dramatic crossing. This heart-stopping event sees the animals brave crocodile-infested waters in their determined journey toward lush grazing lands, a defining moment of the Great Migration.

This luxury mobile camp is operational from June to November, perfectly timed for guests to witness the Great Migration at its peak. Located in the remote wilderness of the Serengeti, it offers front-row access to breathtaking scenery and abundant resident wildlife.

With only ten double tents and one family tent, the camp ensures a private and exclusive experience for every guest, adding to the intensity and intimacy of this unique adventure.

Accommodation

The tents are set at ground level with private porches that open out to sweeping views of the savannah. Spacious and inviting, guests can choose between one double bed or two twin beds. Each tent includes a private bathroom with a traditional bucket shower.

The family tent comprises two interconnected tents with a shared bathroom and a private porch, making it perfect for families or small groups traveling together.
