Porini Lion Camp Masai Mara
The Porini Lion Camp is set in a beautiful and unique place, right next to the seasonal Ntiakatiak River in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is right next to this big area, which is home to many animals, including the famous Big Cats of the Mara. The conservancy has some of the best game watching because it hasn’t been changed in any way. The Porini Lion Camp, which has just nine tents and one family unit, makes sure that guests really get “away from it all” in the middle of the African bush.
At Porini Lion Camp, the family unit is a tent in the shape of a “I.” It is 20 meters away from the main areas. The unit is made of high-quality cloth and is 144 square meters in size. It has a lounge in the middle of the two rooms. The two rooms each have a king-size bed and a single bed. The large, high-quality tent is beautifully decorated and has solar-powered lighting, private bathrooms with a hot shower and a toilet, and a veranda. The unit is great for families or groups of friends going together, and it costs the same per person as our other tents.
The large, well-made tents are nicely decorated and have solar-powered lighting, private bathrooms with a hot shower and a toilet that flushes, and a veranda. There is some free laundry provided. Because the laundry is done by hand and dried outside, the turn-around time depends on the weather. We don’t wash underwear because we want to follow the culture and traditions of the area. There is washing powder in each of our guest rooms in case people want to do their own laundry.
