The Tamarind Tree Hotel is located on Langata Road, Langata, three miles southwest of Nairobi’s city center and a twenty-five-minute drive from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

The 160 bedrooms are all decorated with a mix of light and dark brown wood, splashes of lime green furnishings and a throw depicting colorful patterns neatly laid across the bottom of the bed. The rooms comprise 45 Standard Twin Rooms, 96 Standard Double Rooms and four rooms are handicap accessible. All rooms have a writing desk and small sitting area and offer en-suite bathrooms that include a rain shower, sink and toilet.

The hotel boasts 15 suites which are made up of Junior Suites, Executive Suites, Superior Suites and Family Suites, all boasting a sitting area and writing desk, with the Executive, Superior and Family Suites all offering a separate working area, separate lounge and a bathroom with a bathtub and rain shower. The Family Suite also has a second bedroom area for extra room for family members.
